Welcome to KDCloudApps 2016

Second International Workshop on

Knowledge Discovery and Cloud Computing Applications

Collocated with ENC 2016

UACH y UTCH

Chihuahua, Chihuahua

November 14 - 16, Chihuahua, Mexico

The objective of the Second International Workshop on Knowledge Discovery and Cloud Computing Applications (KDCloudApps 2016) is to provide a forum to exchange and discuss recent advances, results, experiences and lessons learned from the development of applications that apply tools, techniques, methods, and models supported by Knowledge Discovery (KD) and Cloud Computing (CC) technologies. Additionally, KDCloudApps also provides a forum to discuss how KD and CC technologies interact in order to provide more scalable and flexible intelligent information systems.

KDCloudApps 2016 will be held at the
Engineering Faculty at Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (UACH)

SCOPE

The topics of interest for KDCloudApps 2016 workshop are related with applications that incorporate current advances of: natural language processing techniques for knowledge discovery, sentiment analysis, opinion mining, social network analysis, news mining, semantic enrichment, semantic Web, cloud resource monitoring, cloud computing, ontologies to support knowledge discovery, reasoning on ontologies for knowledge discovery, service-oriented applications, ambient intelligence, pervasive systems and ubiquitous computing. PAPER SUBMMISSION

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research and application papers that are not being considered in another forum. All submitted papers will be peer review by at least three members of the technical committee, and carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, clarity and scientific-technical rigor reported.

Submissions must be at most 6 pages in double-column ACM format (http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates) including the bibliography and well-marked appendices.

All papers should be submitted through the EasyChair system.

Electronic submission of manuscripts (in PDF, postscript, or word format) is required. Submissions not conforming to the format or being obviously out of the scope of the workshop will be rejected without review.
